Where do Ideas come from?
Artist Discussion, Thursday January 10, 6 to 8 pm @ Axis Gallery
Sacramento artist Ron Peetz will moderate a session on the source of ideas. Free and open to the public, participants will be able to hear the group of 14 artists showing in Side by Side identify the source of their inspiration. All 14 artists will describe their individual ways of working, their modus operandi and where the genesis of their ideas actually starts, using their own artwork as reference. Luckily, the topic at hand is hanging on the walls and in the middle of the room – SIDE BY SIDE – the artists. Artists, art students, and art enthusiasts of all ages are invited to hear remarks and ask questions about the source of ideas. We’re certain that this will be a lively interchange.
