“Maize Tale” is my free interpretation about maize. These paintings evolved in the aftermath of a dozen paintings I had done for a story my friend Liz Monsivais told me. Her story was loosely based on a legend from Central America. Liz’s story telling was inspiring. It still keeps me interested in exploring more about the topic.
